Y. Xu was born in Yueyang, China, in 1985. She received her B.E. degree in electronic information engineering from Xiangtan University, China in 2007. She is a Master student of power electronic and electrical drive, Xiangtan University, in China. Her research interests are neural network ensemble and fault diagnosis on power transformer.

D. B. Zhang was born in Shaoyang, China, in 1973. He received his B.S. and M.S. degree in Computer Science from Xiangtan University, China in 1996 and 2001, respectively, and received Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Technology from Hunan University, China, in 2007. From 1996 he worked in Xiangtan University, and has been an associate professor in Xiangtan University since 2006. His research interests include rough sets, neural network, digital image processing, pattern recognition and artificial intelligence.

Y. N. Wang was born in Jiangxi, China, in 1957. He received the B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from East China Technology Institute, China in 1981. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Hunan University, China, in 1990 and 1994, respectively. From 1994 to 1995 he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in National University of Defense Technology. From 1981 to 1994 he worked in East China Technology Institute. Since 1995, he has been a professor in Hunan University, China. His research interests are image processing, pattern recognition, and industrial process control.
