Peng Shang

Peng Shang was born in Xinxiang, Henan Province, P.R.China, on Nov 29, 1983. He received the B.S. and M.S. degree in electronics and information engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Hubei, P.R.China, in 2004 and 2006 respectively. He is now a Ph.D. candidate in communications and information engineering.His research interests are the areas of wireless communicatons and information theory.

From 2007 to 2008, he was the president of  IEEE student branch at Huazhong University of Science and Technology.  From 2005 to now, He is working with Division of Optical Communication and Intelligent Network, Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics.

Guangxi Zhu

Guangxi Zhu received a B.S. in information and communication engineering from Huazhong Institute of Technology, P.R. China, in 1969. Since 1974 he has held a variety of academic positions at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), P.R. China. He is currently Professor of Electronics and Information Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Dean of Division of Optical Communication and Intelligent Network, Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics. His research interests include multimedia communication, signal processing, and engineering education, and he has published over 100 research papers.

Gang Su

Gang Su, member of IEEE, was born in Changsha, P.R.China, on June 19, 1971. He received the B.S. degree in radio engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China in 1994, the M.S. degree in computer system organization from China Ship Research and Development Academy, Beijing, China in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China in 2007.

He has several years industrial experience with the Wuhan Digital Engineering Institute and the ANDA Networks Company. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering and Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. 

His current research work is in the general area of communication and information theory with emphasis on key tech of 4G and beyond wireless/mobile communication system, including multi antennae system, co-operative communication and radio resource management.

Kai Deng

Kai Deng was born in Wuhan, Hubei Province, P.R.China,on 20 July, 1982. She received her B.Eng in Electronics & Information Engineering and B.A in Technology English at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Hubei, China in 2004. She was awarded her MSc degree in Signal Processing & Communications by The University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom in 2005.

Her research interests are the areas of communications network and network coding.
