3D Rapid Modeling for Headframe Foundation

Abstract


The design of headframe foundation is always a cumbersome and difficult process. Traditionally its design is focused on 2D construction drawings. Currently it need its 3D model and often proceed finite element analysis for its importance. Based on the analysis of its design and model process we find that the core work of 3D modeling for headframe foundation is its vertices calculation. Therefore we present a rapid 3D modeling method for headframe foundation. 3D coordinates calculation method of its vertices is proposed. Finally a system implementation is given, which can quickly complete a complex modeling task with simple operation. The system has been successfully applied in some projects of Pingmei Group.
